Join in helping with this years Foster Care Christmas Party - a night of joy, dignity, and pure Christmas delight. We need your help volunteering the night of the event and we need your help in gifting 400 foster children a brand new pair of sneakers.
This year we are inviting foster children from Hinds, Rankin, Madison, Holmes, Warren, and Yazoo Counties to the Mississippi Children's Museum. Each foster child will be gifted a brand-new pair of sneakers. This year marks a decade of hosting our Foster Care Christmas Party.
More than 400 foster children and their foster families will be invited to step into the Mississippi Children’s Museum on December 8 for an unforgettable night of games, activities, treats, and the chance to choose their very own pair of Vans or New Balance sneakers.
We’re partnering with Swell-O-Phonic for the third year, a beloved local shop, to secure shoes and make sure every child leaves with a pair that fits comfortably and feels incredible. Their team will join us for sizing, fitting, and high-fives as every kid walks away with something brand-new and all their own.
This night is also our moment to thank the heroes behind the scenes. Over 150 social workers will be honored and gifted a small token of thanks for the enormous love they pour into these children year-round.
If we surpass our fundraising goal, every additional dollar will go toward ongoing care and future support for foster children and the social workers who champion them.
