Every group is different. Please choose the questions that relate best to your group, and don’t feel like you have to get to every question.

Read Genesis 2:15-25 and Genesis 3:8,17-24.

Adam, which means man or human, was the prototype for humankind.

What was God’s design/plan for humankind before the Fall?

What was the reaction to God immediately after the man and woman ate the forbidden fruit? (Genesis 3:8)

What changes did God make in His plan for humankind due to their disobedience?

Read Luke 2:49 and Luke 9:51.

Jesus is called the “second Adam” as He is the prototype for regenerated humankind.

Whose plan for His life was Jesus following, from childhood to the end of His life?

In what ways do we see Him following this plan?

Read Psalms 127:2 and Psalms 139:13-14 and Romans 12:1

How can we balance work and rest?

If you loaned your car to a friend and they treated your car like you treat the body God gave you, how would you feel?

What habits of self-care do you need to add, change, or take away?

There are four core dimensions of our lives where we can live in accordance with God’s design.

Read the following passages that correspond with these four areas and discuss where you see your life out-of-line with the standard found in each area.

1. Body Life

Genesis 1:1, 5. Genesis 2:5, Psalms 127:2, Psalms 139:13,14.

2. Work Life

Genesis 2:15, 19-20, Colossians 3:23-24

3. Relational Life

Genesis 2:23, 3:12

4. Spiritual Life

Genesis 2:7, 3:8,19. Psalms 103:14
